Dental Care

We provide both NHS and private dental care to our patients. It is the practice’s aim to promote dental care health at all times and therefore regular check ups are actively encouraged.

NHS Treatment

The NHS provides all the treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. There are some treatments however which are not available under the NHS (e.g. cosmetic procedures) and you may choose to have such procedures carried out on a private basis. You may also choose to have some treatments provided privately as an alternative to NHS treatment. We believe in providing our patients with a choice and we would be more than happy to discuss these options with you.

Private Treatment

Private dental treatments enable us to offer you a complete range of treatments such as cosmetic work, white fillings, white crowns and tooth whitening. We use modern and up to date materials when carrying out these treatments to ensure the very best of results.

Dental hygiene treatment is delivered by our team of hygienists here at the practice. They have a unique skill to professionally clean your teeth with special equipment and pastes, also known as scaling and polishing. An important aspect of the hygienist’s role is to show you how to look after your teeth so they remain free from plaque. You will be advised on the best brushing technique and given tips on flossing and using interdental brushes.

Other Treatments

In addition to routine treatments we now also offer:

Dental Implants

Essence Dental Clinic is proud to offer its patients dental implants. Dental implants are the most advanced way to replace missing teeth. Implants are extremely popular procedures as they are currently the closest you can get to natural teeth. Should you require further information on implants, do not hesitate to discuss the treatment with your dentist.

Orthodontics treatment using invisible braces

Tooth straightening is offered by all our dentist using invisible braces which allows the patient to achieve a perfect smile without the need for visible tracks. You can speak to your dentist at Essence Dental Clinic to get more details.

Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening is a highly effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. Should you wish for a brighter and whiter smile, discuss tooth whitening with your dentist who will be able to offer you a personal consultation.
