Standard charges for all NHS dental treatments
Band 1 course of treatment – £25.80
This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.
Band 2 course of treatment – £70.70
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or removal of teeth.
Band 3 course of treatment – £306.8

Hygienist
Dental hygiene treatment is delivered by our team of hygienists here at Essence Dental Clinic. They have a unique skill to professionally clean your teeth with special equipment and pastes, also known as scaling and polishing. An important aspect of the hygienist’s role is to show you how to look after your teeth so they remain free from plaque. You will be advised on the best brushing technique and given tips on flossing and using interdental brushes.
