We’ve all been there. You’re at the supermarket and next on your shopping list is toothpaste. And you find yourself staring at a dazzling array of different toothpastes. You’ve got – fresh breath, tooth whitening, enamel repair, total protection, pro whitening, sensitive, sensitive with whitening, anti-bacterial, all day protection, baking soda, etc. etc. etc…

We’ve seen people reduced to quivering wrecks just trying to pick a toothpaste!

So how do you choose?

Well, our advice is quite simple – regular brushing with a good quality fluoride toothpaste will help keep your teeth in tip top shape. And as the vast majority of toothpastes sold in the U.K. contain fluoride then most will be suitable (check the labelling). So after that just pick the one that has the added features you prefer.

NB if you suffer from sensitive teeth make an appointment to see your dentist to get it checked out.
